Chocolate Snacker Cracker

  • 1 box Saffron Road Lentil crackers (we used sea salt)
  • Almond caramel butter (can use any other spread/butter of choice)
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate or chocolate chips (can use white, milk or dark chocolate also)
  • 2 tsp shortening
  • coconut flakes, sprinkles, sea salt and even chopped nuts of your choice for topping
  1. Gently sandwich together two pieces of lentil crackers with butter of choice (we used Almond Caramel) and set aside.
  2. On low heat (or a double boiler), stirring constantly, melt chocolate and shortening together.
  3. Remove from heat and bring to room temperature.
  4. Dip sandwiched lentil crackers in the melted chocolate and place on parchment paper on a cookie tray.
  5. Continue to repeat until they are all coated.
  6. Sprinkle with choice of chopped nuts, coconut flakes, sea salt or sprinkles. You can also drizzle fresh caramel or white chocolate for an extra bit of sweetness!
  7. Place your Chocolate Snacker Crackers in the fridge for 1-2 hours or until ready to serve! Enjoy!
