Gluten Free Black Bean Hummus

Gluten Free Black Bean Hummus
  • 1 (15oz) can Black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 Tablespoons Tahini
  • Juice of 1 lime (1/2 a lime if it is a big lime)
  • 3 cloves roasted garlic.
  • ½ Teaspoon Cumin
  • ½ Teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive oil
  • ¼ large bunch of Cilantro
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  1. Rinse and pat dry the cilantro. ( I even use the stems of the cilantro for this recipe!)
  2. Drain and rinse the black beans.
  3. Use the blade attachment in the bowl of your food processor.
  4. Place everything in the bowl of the food processor.
  5. Secure the top of the food processor.
  6. Turn your food processor on and allow to process until your desired texture.
  7. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and pulse a few more time.
  8. I serve this recipe with Saffron Road Chickbean Crisps or BeanStalks.
